About Depo Olabode

Depo Olabode was born in Ilora, Old Western region of Nigeria in the late 1930s. He was the first to earn a bachelors degree from University of Ife in his family and that eventually paved the way for many others in his extended family.

He was previously at Baptist College Iwo for modern school. He was passionate about youth development and expressed some of these thoughts in scholarly writings and civil conversations.

DOFPPA is an embodiment of his life long dream of accelerated and progressive developments on the continent of Africa. Everyone that shares in this vision is encouraged to participate and contribution to the various initiatives of the foundation.
