Yinka Fadeji was born in Fiditi, Old Western region of Nigeria in the late 1940s. She was a woman driven by passion for self development and the believe that formal education combined with personal skills acquisition is a viable path to financial independence for young women aspiring to raise their own families.
Through extraordinary commitments and sacrifices, she made progress in higher education schooling, gainful employment in Northern Nigeria and raising a family all while investing in small scale business that demonstrated the need for informal skills acquisition and self development in a post independence Nigeria. She attended in Abeokuta and Kaduna Polytechnic, Zaria.
MAVFO aims to help the teaming women, men, young girls and boys of sub-Saharan Africa with limited access to education, horn their self-acquired skills and prepare themselves for a future in entrepreneurship at all economic scales on the continent and with ultimate hope of financial independence.
